  Central States Roofing has installed EPDM Rubber Membrane Roofing Systems for twenty years. Our organization has received recognition from both Carlisle SynTec Systems and Firestone Building Products.
  
  Carlisle SynTec Systems recognized our firm as being the sixth roofing contractor out of 1,700 nation wide to receive 100 "Perfect 10" inspection ratings and the fifth contractor nation wide to receive 500 "Perfect 10" ratings. In 1997 we were one of six approved applicators to reach the next level of recognition for Carlisle of 750 "Perfect 10" ratings. In 1998 we received the Carlisle ESP (Excellence in Single Ply) Award.
  
  Central States has been a Firestone Building Products approved applicator for ten years. In only our second year of installing their systems, Firestone named our firm a "Master Contractor", one of only two in the state of Iowa. "Master Contractor" recognition is based upon quality of workmanship and square feet of roofing installed. In 1993 we became the first Iowa company to receive "Master Contractor" two years in a row. We have received the award three times. In 1998 we received their "Partners in Quality" Award.
  
  We have successfully installed over 10,000,000 square feet of single ply membrane roofing systems. In addition to installing Firestone and Carlisle systems, we also have experience installing thermoplastic & PVC systems from GenFlex, Tremco, J.P. Stevens, Sarnafil and Carlisle Sure weld. Our Newest roofing system is the 2001 System that uses a vacuum air seal. Please see the Roofing System link that will give a description of the different systems.
  
   
• Built-Up Roofing Systems / Modified Membrane Roofing Systems
  
  Our Firm has installed conventional built-up roofing systems for thirty years and we have at least one crew installing BUR a good part of the year.
  
  For ten years, we have successfully installed different types of modified systems. We have installed torch applied modified bitumen systems as well as mop down modified S.B.S. bitumen systems. We have trained our people with the latest training programs by the Midwest Roofing Contractor's Association in the use of torch applied systems. We have experience installing systems from Firestone, Garland, GAF, Siplast and Derbigum/Performance Roof Systems.
